Updates to Scheduled Downtime

Hi BCDA Community,

We're updating the schedule for our planned downtime next week to minimize interruptions to your BCDA client workflows. The schedule below is an update and correction to our previous announcement posted on May 13th.

Maintenance to the production environment

BCDA's production environment (api.bcda.cms.gov) will be unavailable Wednesday, June 11th from 11:00 AM ET to 7:00 PM ET:

• Any requests to the production API will receive a 503 Service Unavailable response.
• All in-progress job requests to the production environment will be cancelled
• All data files for previously completed jobs in the production environment will be unavailable.
• We will send a notice once maintenance is complete and service is fully restored.

Maintenance to the sandbox environment

BCDA's sandbox environment (sandbox.bcda.cms.gov) will be unavailable Monday, June 9th from 11:00 AM ET to 7:00 PM ET:

• Any requests to the sandbox API will receive a 503 Service Unavailable response.
• All in-progress job requests to the sandbox environment will be cancelled
• All data files for previously completed jobs in the sandbox environment will be unavailable.
• We will send a notice once maintenance is complete and service is fully restored.

UPDATED: Maintenance to the sandbox environment

BCDA's sandbox environment (sandbox.bcda.cms.gov) will be unavailable Tuesday, June 10th from 1:00 PM ET to 7:00 PM ET:

• Any requests to the sandbox API will receive a 503 Service Unavailable response.
• All in-progress job requests to the sandbox environment will be cancelled
• All data files for previously completed jobs in the sandbox environment will be unavailable.
• We will send a notice once maintenance is complete and service is fully restored.

I'm getting error 500 when trying to pull data.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry for the issues accessing the API. We've found an issue after this downtime for newly created or rotated credentials in 4i and ACO-MS which we are working to resolve.

If you have not recently created or rotated your BCDA credentials and are seeing this 500 response, please let us know.

Hello,

Shared Savings Program ACOs should now be able to create and rotate your BCDA credentials in ACO-MS as usual. We are still working to resolve the issue for 4i users. If you are an SSP ACO and are still receiving this 500 response, please let us know.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out about being unable to rotate credentials. We are still working to enable credential rotation for both ACO-MS and 4i users following last week's maintenance, and will share updates as they are available. API requests made with existing credentials remain unaffected at this time.
