monday polo plus a modest proposal

Monday, 5:30.  You know what.  You know where.  Irene will have blown through by then and cleaned the court for us.  If you left your mallet at the court last week, there shall be a $5 fee to release it from storage.

I was talking to some of the polo people from Roanoke last night and they want to throw down sometime soon.  They came here last time, so I propose we make a little trip to their court at some point soon.  There was talk of a weekend afternoon or thursday evening (with potential for a little more social get-together afterwards).  They have side-by-side fenced and lighted tennis courts so consecutive games (or night games) could be accommodated.  Any ideas on a good date for a little SWVA throwdown?  Gotta show those big city fuckers what's what.  It's really not that far (45 mins), and I'd certainly be willing to make the drive for the promise of some good games.
