Spring Polo!

Hey polo people-

It's sunny out.  Let's play polo.

Ran into a couple hipsters in front of the library and we were all ashamed that polo hasn't happened in a while.

Take a sec and fill out this poll to figure out what's good for folks for this semester.

We need to make sure the court is in working order, see if anyone remembers the combination to the cones, take stock of balls and mallets, and then tear it up.

Roll call.  Who's still out there and is ready to throw down on the court?  Ritchie?  Bert?  Brinckman?  How's about the fixie contingent?  Where's Alex, Dan, and the rest of the irregulars?

Got a newbie ready to build a bike this weekend.  Where's all the veterans?  Who's talking up the good game to the new kids?  Who's got extra mallets? (All of mine plus my bike are trapped under a snowbank in Maine).

Can't go to charlottesville because of having a job. What is this responsibilities bullshit?

Anyways it seems this great weather may be short lived; however, I would still be down for a few warm up games on Sunday (high 49*). Bonzey seemed a little too healthy today, it seems he needs some new polo bruises. So who is interested? Also, I would love a new front 700c or 27 to use for polo, let me know if you got anything that would take a little beating for a few dollars.

Really??  Only Dalton and myself are interested enough in polo to try to figure out a day to play.  Wow.  Just...wow.

Finally an e-mail I am happy to read after a long weekend!  Polo may be coming back and I will try once again to make myself available as I can.  I won't clutter up the doo-dad thingy as I now work 1st and 3rd shift most days between 2 jobs plus some cab driving thrown in the mix also so my availability is random at best.  If y'all post up a go time within an hour or 2 prior on a particular day I will make an attempt to play.  Sorry I can't commit a more set time at the moment,  I'll see what I can do in the near future.
