BB Bold: Message LED blinker continuous

Good evening. Thanks for developing the app; it's a great idea for
when Twitter SMS is down or slow. I just installed version 0.2.2 on my
new Blackberry Bold. I received a tweet to my inbox which was great,
but even after I deleted it, the LED light continued to flash red.
There were no messages in any of my email inboxes at the time.

Has this been an issue for anyone else? Hopefully there's a fix, or
instructions as to what can be done to eliminate that.

Did you open the message before deleting it? Or just delete it, leaving it unread?
