Good point. However, it is changing so far. Think about the history of Android, it is only 3 years since first release at 23 Sep, 2008 while it had already been developing for 5 years at that moment. Google's Purchasing Motorola does hurt ecosystem more or less. Some worries and concerns spread in the ecosystem no doubt. That is one of the most important reason why Samsung does this.
Another fact is Tizen is not built from bottom. Intel wen through Moblin, MeeGo, and now Tizen. They already bring up lots of developers and ecosystem now. Additionally, if x86 system could further decrease power consumption, and it would be popular soon in handset probably. Image how many apps, like service you mentioned, could be easily porting to handsets. As for software, it is kind of shame for Intel. ;)
In fact, for us, we won't be impacted too much since it is based on Linux too. It should be much easier if you understand all what Teacher Zhao is talking. :)
Good talking.

For sure, it is challenging for Intel and Samsung. Especially for Intel, because it has not release any successful general software yet except some special and professional ones.
