I am happy to inform you that, our Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics is celebrating "BIOINFORMATICS WEEK" from 19-25 March, 2012 as mark of respect to the contributions made by Dr. Margaret Oakley Dayhoff to the field of Bioinformatics.
The celebration week includes a Two Day National Seminar on "Intelligent Computing in Biological Sciences" and a Five Day National Workshop on "Computational Biology".
Some of the Eminent Scientists from India and abroad would be delivering lectures on both the days of Seminar on thrust areas of Bioinformatics.
I hereby invite one and all to be a part of the celebration by attending the seminar/ workshop or both and make this event a grand success.
