Hello,

As I understand it, the probing of the rtt was decoupled from the min rtt window,, to provide faster synchronization between flows. My question is: why was this done? Would a min rtt window length of 5 seconds (matching the new probe rtt interval) be a detriment? If you could provide any more insight into this choice it would be greatly appreciated.
