Technology disruptions have caused many traditional businesses to rethink of their future business model on how to compete with the likes of Lazada, Uber, Airbnb and what not. While most of these are start-ups with mostly young blood entrepreneurship mind-set, what about baby boomers & gen X business owners with existing business ?
What are the elements to take note in their journey to transform and transition their businesses from offline to online?
Mr CK Ng will share his journey in transforming his business from offline to online and the recipe that he used in helping his business stay ahead.
Speaker Profile:
Mr CK Ng founded iFORTE in year 2002 and grew the company from first year revenue of RM400K to more than RM20 Million in year 2016. iFORTE is in the business of providing Executive Search, Contract Staffing Outsourcing and Payroll Services.
In 2016, CK start up Payday Business Services, a MSC status company focussing in Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. Payday is an IT arm of iFORTE whereby, he envisioned to digitalize most of the services from iFORTE from Offline to Online specializing in Human Capital Management.
Prior to founding iFORTE and Payday, CK was the Country Manager for a regional consulting firm implementing enterprise solutions such as Baan ERP, EXE WMS and Peoplesoft HRMS. He was instrumental in setting up the Malaysia operation from zero base to a size of 30 consultants within 2 years.
Prior to that, CK was also attached to Atos Origin (a global consulting firm), he was handling ERP project deliverables regionally. He has been involved in many large-scale projects that include Philips Consumer Communication (Hong Kong), Philips Semiconductor (Thailand), Flextronics (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China) among others.
CK has an extensive managed services and system integration experience while he was attached to CSA Malaysia and IFCA Systems whereby he start up his career involved in system development and implementation of Property Developer, Property Construction, Plantation Information and Financial System.
