SUPPORT OUR WORK
If you're getting this newsletter, you're probably already familiar with our work, sharing Hungarian folk songs with people around the world through small and large classes,
lectures, workshops, and performances. There are limited opportunities for English speakers to delve into this tradition, and we have worked hard for 15 years to make this a reality, through both our own class offerings and through partnering with various
institutions and cultural events. Learn
more.
If you love what we do, please make an end of year contribution to support our work. You can
make a one-time donation now or
commit to monthly support for 2026, in whatever amount works for your budget. Your support can go toward village research,
infrastructure, class fees for low-income participants, travels costs, and more. With
annual membership, you may attend all classes we offer throughout the year. Besides financial contributions, we are also
grateful for donated goods or services -- perhaps you or someone you know can assist us with website development, promotion,
grant-writing, or fundraising, or have airline miles to facilitate international workshops.
-
Supporters contribute to our work through one-time or monthly donations of any amount, or through donating goods or services. We are so grateful
for every donation!
-
Members pay an annual fee and in exchange can attend all classes we offer throughout the year that are open to the public (weekly singing classes,
additional lectures and workshops, etc), can receive the class materials for any classes they can't attend personally, and receive two private lessons per year as part of the membership benefits. Annual membership is 150k Ft. for residents of Hungary (12,500
Ft./mo.) or sliding scale $750-1500 USD for international participants, and is also open to non-class participants who want to be a part of the Népdalkör family and contribute to our annual budget and financial stability in this way.
-
Patrons
are deeply invested in supporting our work, and can be anonymous or acknowledged, can sponsor a specific project and consult on new project ideas, and like members can attend all classes and receive class materials. Please contact us for further details
and additional benefits!
