Live Music Balkan Folk Dance Party with Orkestar Unbound!

2^nd Wednesday Balkan Folk Dancing

at Ashkenaz, Wednesday, June 10^th, 7 to 10 pm.

Folk Dance Party to Live Music!

Orkestar Unbound – playing from the center of the village –

serves up a heady stew of energetic and soulful dances from the Balkans (Macedonia, Bulgaria, the Roma, Greece, Albania, etc.), and beyond!

The Bay-Area favorite band includes:

·       Justine Kragen - vocals, guitar, tambura & percussion

·       David Feldthouse - tupan & darabuka

·       Will Cope - vocals, gajda, tambura, oud, bouzouki & accordion 

·       With men's chorus!

Teaching for all levels by Nadav Nur and Susie Shoaf, 7 to 730 pm, Dancing 730 to 10 pm.
