The VDR's 3rd Saturday After-Party (follows California's Global Dance
Party, at around 8:15pm-ish Central), and ends around 3:00am Sunday morning.
The
After-Party features dance sets hosted by about 20 selected dance leaders and musicians from around the world.
Our stable of live musicians includes: Tom Pixton, Shirley Johnson, Don Weeda,
Bill Cope & Company (Music Without Borders), Vlade Rokvic (Serbian), The All Girl Band, Angel Dobrev (Grupa Verea, Bulgarian), Melissa Miller & Lew Smith (Sviraci), John Parrish, Clara Byom, Jason Ottman, Jo Ann Gentry & Company (Balkan Allspice), Jim Little,
Chris Barnes, Jay Mc Crensky (Machaya Klezmer), Slavadillo, Balkanski Bus (Sydney, Australia), Victor Robin and Bruce Sagan.

We've opened registration for the 46th Annual Door County Folk Festival, Friday-Sunday, July 11-13, 2025 in at MUSE Sturgeon Bay, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
-
The Door County Folk Festival (DCFF) is one of the most fun-filled and enjoyable recreational and educational dance weekends in the Midwest.
-
Each year, the DCFF attracts hundreds of participants to Door County, Wisconsin, from all around North America and beyond.
-
DCFF 2025 runs from Friday, July 11th through Sunday, July 13th and continues a tradition of enjoyable, July weekends where one can dance, sing, play, learn, share experiences, eat, party and make new friends in a congenial, relaxed, community atmosphere. Workshops,
parties and seminars feature some of the best leaders, teachers, callers, singers, musicians and orchestras from the Midwest and beyond.

If you're unable to join us in person, consider attending virtually (via Zoom). The Virtual Dance Room (VDR) plans to broadcast events from MUSE's Main Hall and Green Room.

MUSE's Main Hall features early morning square/contra/round dance sessions, ethnic dance workshops, BYO social hours and dance parties and an early Saturday afternoon culture session about Southern Door County's Belgian community led by Marc Kotz.

MUSE's Green Room features singing workshops (Bruce Sagan), early Saturday afternoon virtual (Zoom) culture sessions led by Daniela Nyberg and Marvin Moehle and Ethnic Dance-101 sessions where various instructors will present and lead dances that are easily
accessible to those with little or no experience in ethnic dance.

Each evening kicks off at 7pm with a BYO (bring your own) social hour hosted by various leaders. The evening continues at 8pm with dancing to live and recorded music. Live music provided
by Orkestar Izvor of Milwaukee (Friday & Saturday), Bruce Sagan and possibly other musicians TBA.
