If you are a Folk Dance Federation member, you have probably received the October issue of Let's Dance! I hope you read about the Folk Dance Federation Survey (p. 15).
If you're NOT a Folk Dance Federation member, you can still participate in the survey. Read on!
There was a similar survey done way back in 1945, the results of which were published in 1946. You can read the full report on the original survey in the November 2024 issue of Let's Dance! (available online at folkdance.com).
The current Folk Dance Federation Board thought it would be an interesting project to survey the current dancing population to see what it looks like now. As I write this, 64 surveys have been submitted via the online survey. You can participate in this survey by clicking that same link. It takes under three minutes to complete, and you don't have to answer any question if you are uncomfortable providing the information.
You do not have to be a Folk Dance Federation member! Forward this email to any of your dancing friends and dance groups that have email lists!
