The next Downtown Soundz concerts will be in the new year (see below), but there are a couple of upcoming shows at Irene Herrmann's house, in Westside Santa Cruz, that are going to be great:

Tue Dec 9, 7:00pm:   Ira Temple and Michael Winograd: Klezmer Duo

       Ira and Michael are staples of NYC’s vibrant Klezmer and Yiddish music

       community and cultural tapestry. Together they have played concerts,

       festivals, weddings and coming of age celebrations, and are both current

       members of the cast and orchestra of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club on Broadway.

Thu Dec 18, 7:30pm:   Corey Harris & Cedric Watson: True Blues

         True Blues chronicles the extraordinary living culture of the blues in an

         evening of music and conversation, vividly bringing to life this crucial

         wellspring of American music.
