Beautiful picture of Joyce

Hi all, I have never posted before so I hope this works.

Joyce and I were friends and neighbors for ~40 years, and we had tons of fun traveling together back then. We were friends and a fellow folk dancers long before she ever started BBMDE or learned to play a musical instrument. I am devastated by her loss.

The last time I saw her was in June. She stopped by my house on her way home from Statewide and we had a nice Thai birthday dinner together, as we had done many times over the years (both of us born in early June).

Anyway, she told me to look up the pictures that were taken Statewide. So I did look them up and I found this absolutely beautiful picture of Joyce. I saved it because it was the best picture I had ever seen of her. I specifically texted it to her and told her she should use it for promos.

I’m sorry that I don’t know who took the picture so I don’t know who to give credit for it. I hope that whoever took this picture will not mind sharing it with the wider community. I’m sure a lot of people will enjoy seeing Joyce looking so happy.
