PRONUNCIATION CLASSES

Due to the success of our special pronunciation series in January, we are offering it again in March, this time through The Hungarian Store. This expanded 5-week series includes our Level I (all letter sounds) and Level II (further nuances) classes as well as three thematic practice classes with common foods, Hungarian names, and places.

COME LEARN THE BIRTHDAY SONG!

In the folk music and dance revival movement, this meaningful and heartfelt folk song from Szék, traditionally sung to honor name days, has been adapted to celebrate birthdays. This is now the widespread birthday song used among communities with connection to Hungarian folk culture. If you've felt left out by not knowing it, join us to learn it well! Communicating much more than the lyrics of "happy birthday", it is also wonderful song to share with your loved ones who aren't familiar with it!
