Hope you’ll be able to join us in spite of possible rain.

Workshop $5, Dance Party $10-15, Workshop & Dance, $10-20, Sliding Scale;  free for musicians and first-timers.
(All proceeds go to pay rent and support the musicians)

Dance Workshop, 4:00-6:00 pm:  
This month’s workshop will primarily focus on Springleik fr. Vågå, a well loved Norwegian dance recently taught by Mikkel Thompson & Ginny Lee at Camp Norge. A chance to get practice.  Watch the linked dances for video previews.

4:00-4:30pm:  Quick Teaching/Review of two Beginning/Intermediate level dances. 
To Ting - (“Two things”) - Beginning/Intermediate level dance from Denmark, with two parts:  Waltz (3/4) and Snoa-like pivot turn (2/4)

Tuluttooq - Fun beginning/Intermediate level dance from Greenland that we’ll modify to dance as a mixer.


4:30 - 6:00pm:   Springleik fr. Vågå
 
Potluck Dinner, 6:00-7:00 pm:  Please bring a  favorite dish to share! 

Dance Party:  7:00-10:00 pm
