June brings long days, warm evenings, and countless opportunities to gather
outdoors, make music, and celebrate community. As summer unfolds, we invite you to embrace creativity, connect with old and new friends, and find joy in the traditions that bring us together.
Lark Traditional Arts believes that music, song, dance, and play are powerful
ways to build community and nurture the human spirit. Whether you're learning a new tune, joining a dance, singing around a campfire, or simply listening beneath the trees, summer is the perfect time to reconnect with the arts and with one another.
We're especially excited as we look ahead to our upcoming events. Registration
is open for both Lark Camp and the Jug Handle Campout, two unique opportunities to immerse yourself in traditional music, dance, and song. Whether you're a longtime Larkie or considering your first Lark experience, you'll find inspiring teachers, welcoming
community, and plenty of chances to learn, play, and create.
We hope you'll join us this summer as we continue celebrating the rich traditions
that connect us across generations and cultures. Grab your instrument, slip on your dancing shoes, bring your curiosity, and come make memories with us!

Jug Handle Campout 2026
October 16-18
There’s something magical about gathering by the coast in the fall. Crisp air,
towering trees, old friends, new friends, and music around every corner.
Whether you love learning new tunes, joining spontaneous jam sessions, dancing
under the stars, exploring nature trails, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee while listening to incredible musicians, LTA's
Jug Handle Campout offers a warm and welcoming retreat from the busyness of everyday life.
This intimate weekend gathering brings together musicians, dancers, singers,
families, and traditional arts enthusiasts for a few days of community, creativity, and fun. Workshops are volunteer-led, participation is encouraged, and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and wonderfully unplugged.
Space is limited, and accommodations can fill quickly, so now is the perfect
time to reserve your spot. Whether you're a longtime Larkie or considering your first event with us, we'd love to share this special weekend with you.
Come for the music. Stay for the community. Leave inspired.
We can't wait to see you at Jug Handle Campout in October 2026!
