We are thrilled that registration for our summer workshops is officially open! For almost 50 years, these weeklong residential camps have brought together thousands of musicians, dancers, and appreciators of Balkan folk cultures. Together, we share classes, meals, and dance parties for a truly unforgettable experience. Click the links below to learn more about and register for the camp of your choice. West Coast Balkan Music & Dance Workshop Mendocino Woodlands, California June 27 – July 4, 2026   Since 1977, the West Coast edition of our summer workshop has taken place amidst the towering redwoods of the Northern California coast. We welcome new and old friends to partake of Balkan music and dance in this extraordinary rustic setting.   Register for West Coast Camp East Coast Balkan Music & Dance Workshop Iroquois Springs, Rock Hill, NY August 8 – 15, 2026   Since 2005, our East Coast workshop has been held in the Catskill Mountains. Join us as we transform the Iroquois Springs site into a village filled with music and dance, friendly conversation, and joyful celebration.   Register for East Coast Camp East Coast Scholarship Applications Because of your generous donations, the EEFC is able to award full scholarships to each 2026 Balkan Music & Dance Workshop. We encourage dancers, singers, and instrumentalists to apply whether you are a newcomer or workshop veteran; whether you have Balkan roots or not; and whether you are professional or amateur. We are looking above all for people who will help us spread the joy of Balkan music and dance.    The West Coast scholarship deadline has passed. Submit your applications for East Coast Camp by April 12. Visit our scholarship page to review guidelines and requirements before preparing your submissions.
