I was hoping to dress up my test output a little by adding a set of Custom Keywords to 'Log File’.
I added a file called Test.log to …/Custom Keywords

# Test.log
test
tests
failure
failures
errors
skips
runs
assertions
finished
Finished
seed

But I none the words are highlighted.
Any ideas as to why?
Is the Log File language module different?

I’ve only used this feature once before (with ruby files), it was very straight forward.

Has anyone done anything like this? Maybe made a code-less language module for tests?

I appreciate any advice, thanks

The "Log File" language module explicitly doesn't support syntax coloring; so you would need to prepare a simple codeless language module for the purpose.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.

Hi

version 15.1.1 (15B26, Apple Silicon)

when making a Find the initial display highlights the found text with  an obvious background (“Qto”)

however, when we seek the first (or next instance), the highlighting is much less obvious…

is there a setting to use the initial highlighting method throughout or different styles?

regards

John
