Disable/uninstall core languages?

Is there any way to remove unused languages from the language menu at the bottom of the window? The size of the list makes switching between languages unwieldy, and there are so many things in there that I never use...

Thanks,
Jason

Nope, sorry. But once the menu is up, you can type in it. What
kind of switching is it that you need to do?

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
sedate me.

- working temporarily in an unsaved file

- file extensions like .inc, which I use with multiple languages

Should have thought to try typing once the menu was open. That helps, though I'd still prefer the ability to disable languages I don't need.

Thanks!
Jason

I have an AppleScript to do language switching for me, then
assigned a keyboard shortcut for each language.
