Hey all,

I recently got Warp (https://warp.dev) running on OS X, but even though it opens a bash shell, the same 'bbedit' CLI command that works in Terminal doesn't work in Warp. I get back:

> You must allow the application which is running `bbedit` to send events to the BBEdit application.
> Please make appropriate changes in your Security & Privacy system preferences,
> or contact your terminal/IDE application's developer for assistance.
> bbedit: error: -1743

But Warp doesn't appear in the Automation tab of the Privacy & Security system settings pane, and I don't see a way to add it there so I can let it tell BBEdit to do stuff. There's no plus button under the list of applications in the Automation tab, and drag-and-dropping doesn't work either.

If anyone can point me at a way to fix this, I'd appreciate it!

The developer will need to address this; there's nothing you can do about it.

The application is missing an "NSAppleEventsUsageDescription" in the Info.plist.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.

Thanks! Turns out someone just recently opened an issue, so I added comment and quoted you. https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/1127
