Hello everyone. I work with cls files in LaTeX (to make my own style files), and I've noticed that the comment menu command defaults to using '#' to comment lines. Is there a way to change the comment command's behaviour for specific filename extensions? Thank you.

make sure that your .cls file is recognised as a (La)TeX file.

For individual files you can set that at the bottom of the window, but it is more convenient to set a custom filenae extension mapping in the Languates tab in the preferences.

Best,

Maarten
