This can be set in preferences under Languages. If you don't add
any Custom Language Prefs for CSS, it should use /**/ for single
line CSS.

I am unable to reproduce this behavior in the most recent version available on the Bare Bones web site. Could you post an example (including the css file, not just the css)?
