When working with tags then BBEdit helps, but also it produces this  <##>.

In css
color: <##>; .

or html.

Where is the setting to do so, so I just get for example

<p></p>

instead of

<p><##></p>.

Off-hand, I’m not sure if you can get rid of those, but they do offer convenience. Press the Tab key to select the <##> marker and enter your text (or delete it).

How are you generating these tags? BBEdit offers ways of generating tags that do not include <##>.

Hi Greg, actually I don't remember how I got it, I'm a beginner with BBEdit.

What I found useful is CTRL- CMD - M to choose from and also I set an F-function key for the p - tag, which works well.
