Sidebar file not saved status

Greetings all. Long time BBEdit User, love it!!

Also, I most always go along with changes to apps and rarely ever complain or ask for things, which I am not doing now, just questioning why?

So before this new update in the sidebar with the list of files open the unsaved file (circle with the x) would be a dark grey, you could see the file has been changed and needs to be saved.

With the update, the icon is now lighter, and hard to tell the difference between the saved state.

Q 1: why did this change happen?

Q 2: is this the reason for the change

from the release notes: The sidebar uses a more conventional appearance in light mode, and spends fewer cycles drawing trendy 3D junk.

If I may make a request to have that unsaved status be more obvious again?

Of course, I am sure, after a few months I will get used to it and all will be fine.

Change is good, Change is scary.
