Diff of markdown files in git with strikethrough etc

I am looking for a diff formater for markdown documents in GitHub. I have found https://github.com/jduckles/pwdiff and the output looks like what I would like to have e (see https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jduckles/pwdiff/master/example/output.png).

Does anybody has any experiences with diff tools like that? Any recommendations?
