Alternate the location of 1 inch gutter when printing text documents in duplex mode

Hello,

I've been working recently on restoration of old computers and media and have been printing out old text documents - which BBEdit is singularly very good at.  Would anyone know if there's a way to get the 1" gutter to alternate left to right side of the page when printing these old text documents on both sides of the page (duplex mode)?
