Is there a way to see two BBEdit documents side-by-side in full-screen mode in El Capitan?

I'm using a 12" retina MacBook so screen space is at a premium, but I'd like to try a way, if there is a way.

Window menu > Arrange > Tile across

You can now set the menu bar to automatically hide itself in System Preferences > General.

Tile Across doesn't fill the screen. It leaves room for the Dock, even if the Dock is hidden. And it doesn't use OS X’s full-screen mode (yes, I know I can hide the menu bar, but that's not what I want).

It appears the answer to my question is 'no' - at least for now.

If you compare two documents you can full screen that interface.

BBEdit doesn’t support the new fullscreen mode so you can’t do side-by-side. Yet?

(BBEdit *does* support full screen, just not the new fullscreen mode in 10.11, unless that is in the current preview)
