I upgraded to Catalina and my TextWrangler went to BBEdit. I do/can I retrieve the information I had stored in TextWrangler

When you start BBEdit for the first time, it will import your
existing TextWrangler settings and history, assuming certain
conditions are satisfied (the most important of which is that
you have never used BBEdit on that computer before, ever).

If that doesn't work, Tech Support (sup...@barebones.com) can assist.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
sedate me.

Let me guess there might be one other thing: default app for Finder?

If Finder does not open BBEdit on double-click of a TextWrangler document then on that document use Get Info (command-I) in Finder to set the default app, and click the “Change All..." button to fix all the other TextWrangler documents.

That is not relevant, but will do no harm.
