Validating and Formatting JavaScript Code

I know that the Check and Format commands work on HTML. Is there a
Plug-In or other way that I can do the same for JavaScript? I am
willing to settle for it working with *.js file and forgoing this
capability for imbedded JavaScript that occurs in HTML files.
