1. How do I blow out "Disk Browser" mode view mode
with the sideline expander where I can edit w/out opening up new Text
Window?

2. How do I highlight poo and move it West 2 stops with out pooping
out the tab triangle that fck's with for my sassy sass sass?

You can't edit anything in the disk browser. Not the files, not the
directory structure. Attempting to edit a file in the disk browser
will instead open an editor for the file, where you can: edit.

The BBEdit manual might help you.
