I am currently editing an Actionscript project (.as). I installed
BBEdit 9 last week. Most things work fine, but I have noticed
inconsistent syntax coloring.
Sometimes half-way through a document, it will start coloring document
syntax correctly, then cease. Specifically, this is with the double
slash style comment.
I have tried switching invisibles on and off; no change
I just tried changing the comment color from the light gray it is by
default to green, but I don't see any green, even after quitting the
program and reopening the file.
Tried deleting preferences and restarting - no change. Tried changing
color of text - no change.

Tried restoring colors to default (after making my changes) - it did
not change back to the original colors...

I tried making the same changes in the same files in BBEdit 8.5 -
there they worked as expected...

Please write to support, and if you have an example file that
demonstrates the problem when edited, that would be great as well.

Thanks,

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
sedate me.

Editing text constants trashes the coloring of these constants
(ActionScript) -- reload needed to display correct coloring. (No
problem with Perl or JavaScript.)
Any doc in BBEdit 9.

Confirmed.

Gotta say that's really, really odd (says the guy who knows odd).

Don't worry about sending in a bug report on this one, I've got it.
