Can't resize open files sidebar?

Currently on BBEdit 13.0.6 on macOS 10.14.6, for a few releases of v13 I have been unable to widen the open files sidebar. Uncertain of which version this started with.

When I attempt to drag it to the right, I get a beach ball for about a second, and the bar moves maybe one pixel, no matter how wide I attempt to drag the separator bar.

Any setting that may be preventing it from changing?
