From time to time I want to edit some configuration file, that is no longer available in the [Open recent] menu. There is almost certainly something addressing this issue...

1. Is there a way to have some files stick to this [Open recent] list, or
2. Create a menu item [Open favorite]
3. Some other convenient shortcut.

Thanks

One (or more) project documents, or perhaps just increase how
many recent items BBEdit 'remembers' via the "Remember the N
most recently used items" option in the Application prefs pane. :-)

A long, long time ago, it used to be that there was a "favorites folder" which I really loved. Now I have a similar folder which appears in open/save dialogs, Finder windows, the Dock,...

Best,

Nestor
