Hi

I see that projects in BBEdit can include different directories (with option for aliasing them). Is it safe to share that files for example in Dropbox?

The idea is to setup project for development where source code exist in one directory and target (result script with added required header and removed testing code) is in another directory (Library/Application Support/<product> . I have two Macs, on both installed the same software and want to have fast access  to development everywhere. The BBEdit project seems to be good solution, but I'm not sure that I can open it on both machines  in the same time.

You can certainly put a project (and/or its assets) in Dropbox; however, the project itself was not designed for simultaneous access, so if it's open on one computer, it's locked and you'd have to override the lock on another computer to use it. This is OK-ish (but not really recommended) if you never add or remove files from the project unless it's only open on one computer.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.
