Hi,

I suspect I'm working with files that have.a BOM present but when I open the file in BBEdit, I'm not seeing the encoding "Unicode (UTF-8, with BOM)".

Is there any way to inspect the document in such a way that I can actually see the BOM?

Thanks in advance.

Ted

Since under normal circumstances, BBEdit will not (and should not) read a BOM into the associated file's contents, you'll need to directly examine the disk file and File -> Hex Dump File... should do the job. :-)
