Option to display control characters and other invisibles with some form of identification instead of just a generic symbol.

Is it at all possible that the full version of BBEdit supports control characters?  In TextWrangler and in the free version of BBEdit, turning on 'invisibles' only identifies a handful of things and everything else gets the old standby: The Upside-Down Question Mark.  I really really really really really would LIKE some way to add, view, and remove the ASCII/Unicode control characters. Being able to see them identified by their acronyms—like how they're (fairly uselessly, in my opinion) represented in the Unicode page way up there in the high numbers—would be very very useful for me.

I'm working around to budgeting the money to buy BBEdit eventually, but this would certainly make it happen sooner for me.

Thanks

Please give the Character Inspector (Windows -> Palettes ->
Character Inspector) a spin. :-)

(NB: You can also bring up the standard OS character viewer at
any time via Edit -> Emoji & Symbols.)

ahh, i see--it would've been nice if the characters would be identified inline, instead of having to click on them one by one to see that they were all correct, but I suppose I'll make do. thank you.
