For 6 years, the Bed-Stuy Farm Share has been working to connect Bed-Stuy residents to farmers with weekly deliveries of sustainably grown vegetables, fruit, eggs, and even coffee (direct trade from Africa) from June through November via the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. The Bed-Stuy Farm Share is a volunteer-member led organization and prioritizes working with farmers of color.
Although the CSA model requires upfront payment before the start of the season, The Bed-Stuy Farm Share accepts SNAP benefits (food stamps), WIC, and payment plans to help members finance their membership.
Your donation will help to underwrite the cost of low-income shares so that we can continue to be accessible to every resident.
The Bed-Stuy Farm Share is an incorporated non-profit in the State of New York.
$25 of each ticket covers food, non-alcholic beverages, and birthday cake, with the remaining sales going to the Bed-Stuy Farm Share. Complimentary beverages from Fresh Ginger Ale and Harlem Brewing Company will be available throughout the evening.
