Hello Brooklyn Bridge CSA,
I hope everyone is enjoying what will hopefully be the last few weeks of winter!
This coming Saturday, 2/12, an event will be taking place in Manhattan called: TEDxManhattan: Changing the Way We Eat. TED is an amazing idea-sharing platform and they host conferences around the world that feature the best and brightest thinkers and activists in all fields (learn more at
ted.com/talks).
Saturday's event is focused on what's happening to our food system--particularly the New York City food system. Amazing speakers from a variety of disciplines (environmentalists, farmers, restaurateurs, food service providers and more) will be there giving short, insightful talks.
Currently, there is a waitlist for the event, but who wants to go outside in this cold weather anyway? Watch it FREE via their webcast--they are livecasting the entire event, 10:30-6pm. The schedule is here:

Enjoy!
