Hi everyone,

I hope to see many of you at next week’s screening of “What’s Organic About Organic” (see Joelle’s email below). It promises to be a really great program!

I wanted to also let you know that Pursue is hosting a Jewish-Justice Skillshare this weekend at Congregation Beth Elohim (in Park Slope).

Brooklyn Bridge CSA-member Aeli Gladstein will be sharing some of his urban gardening skills, including how to repot a plant and how to make new plants out of kitchen scraps! I thought you all might be interested in participating.

The info is on the Pursue website, the registration link is on eventbrite, and you can spread the word through Facebook.

I hope you can join us!

Shabbat Shalom,

Audrey

Subject: Fwd: [BKBridgeCSA Discuss] Come to Our CSA's Free Film Screening!

Hello Brooklyn Bridge CSA,

I just wanted to remind everyone that our CSA will be presenting a screening of "What's Organic About Organic", a one-hour documentary film followed by an excellent program led by the film's director, Shelley Rogers and our very own CSA core group!

The screening will take place:
This upcoming Tuesday, October 19th
Congregation Mt. Sinai (our pick-up site), 250 Cadman Plaza West
7:30pm
snacks and wine will be provided; potluck snacks welcome as well!

RSVP here: http://whatsorganic.eventbrite.com/

The event is open to the public, so please invite your family,
friends, and networks to what promises to be an engaging and
empowering event. We will also be collecting non-perishable (preferably
organic) food items for Brooklyn Bridge CSA's emergency food provider,
Hanson Place Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Thank you so much, and hope to see you there!
