Hi there Brooklyn Bridgers –

I wanted to pass along the EVITE for the Crown Heights CSA’s end of year party. For those of you who don’t know, Crown Heights also partners with Sang Lee Farms. They’ve invited Farmer Fred and his wife Karen to join the festivities so this is an opportunity for Brooklyn Bridgers to meet other Sang Lee Farm enthusiasts and meet and thank the couple that’s responsible for all the amazing produce that you’ve been eating for the last 6 months!

The party is this Sunday and it’s a fundraiser for the Crown Heights CSA. The info is below.

Come to the CSA end of year party!

We have had a great second CSA season but sadly Fred's tomatoes don't grow in December... So come celebrate the end of a delicious harvest with farmer Fred and his wife Karen and all your new and old CSA friends. The party will be on Sunday November 14 from 2-5 at Brooklyn Exposure on Bedford and St. Marks. Kids of all ages are welcome. Please RSVP below.

We will be having a raffle with awesome prizes including a one hour massage, a family membership to the Brooklyn Botanical garden, gift certificates to the Glass Shop, Franklin Park and lots of other local businesses and more! All money raised will go to support our subsidized share program so that even more families on fixed incomes can have access to Fred's veggies next year. There will be a bake sale to raise money too so come hungry!

Also our friend's at Georgia's Place have asked us to support their winter toy drive. We will be collecting toys at the party that will go to foster children in our community, ages 13-21. Read more about the toy drive on our website.
