Problems with the input file.

Hi!, I have a problem performing the input ResNet files:
My grid map have around 200000 cells, so the input file have around
200000 rowns. I generally performed this files first saving in CSV
format (Bounded by commas) from excell and then (from wordpad)
replaced commas for spaces and re-saved in txt file. but now, due to
the file extension (too big) i cannot process it correctly from
wordpad.

any of you know another way to make input file with large extension??

i hope someone would help me please!!!!!

Javier,

 

Can you open your file in Notepad rather than Wordpad? Notepad is able to open large files and can replace commas with blank spaces. If Notepad doesn't work, feel fee to send me your file and I can replace the commas for you and send it back to you.

general, my laboratory no longer supports ResNet which is obsolete;
instead we suggest using ConsNet which can be downloaded from
http://uts.cc.utexas.edu/~consbio/Cons/consnet_home.html and has its
own Google group at http://groups.google.com/group/consnet.est, -

I got the ConsNet Google Group wrong. It's:

and the place to download the software is:
