We have run the maxent_to_resnet with different number of species
(each amphibian species' ascii are 85MB and we have 365 species) and
we realized that this maxent_to_resnet application couldn't generate
files of more than 1GB. So we are running the application for groups
of 10sp with a result of a .txt file of 800MB. Due to the final file
for amphibians to Resnet will be of 15GB (and for reptiles will be
33GB) we have this question:
1)can I open the maxent_to_resnet output in ArcGIS? I need to open it
to adjust the potential distribution of species to real distribution
by deleting species occurrences in non native forest areas?
2) Does the Resnet have the capacity to run this 15GB big files?
3) or it's better to delete in Excel 2007 the smaller values (from
0-0.009) to generate a lighter file?
4) we have some light GRID layers with just presence/absence values
for each species and we could generate an ascii file for each. If the
maxent_to_resnet files' couldn't be run in ResNet it is possible to
run the ResNet with the presence/absence ascii?
Thank you again!!
