Probably you might want to change the group settings to only let members post, although this would probably make it harder for those who wants to join the group. Then again, those people can access the webgroup by applying through the webpage if you enable the "People can request an invitation to join" option. Then you would just need to edit the last 2 line of the webgroup's footnote to be like "To join the group or ___, visit us at".
