hi everyone,
has anyone tried this?
the latest update's changelog says the compattibility with androide apps, so
can anyone try the talkback, google tts, elequence etc and report back?
also, any improvements with regards to blackberry's own accessibility?

I believe we discussed this previously; and you won't be using Talkback on a blackberry.

There is a screen reader on blackberry it's just super unresponsive. Maybe they confused it with talkback.

To be totally honest, it would be nice to see blackberry make a major comeback. I dunno they are pushing some new devices, but unfortunately I don't see those new devices here in the United States and on any of the major carriers in other words Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, etc..

I’ve tried it on the classic and it’s nothing to write home about unfortunately; because I really like the blackberry hardware

I used it when I was using my BlackBerry Curve 9650 device, which I still have bt is now no longer my primary phone. I liked it then, and had hoped BB would again become another contender for mobile accessibility.

Ya it’s like the underdog … you want them to win… I know I certainly do.  As I said, I love the hardware.  I love the new OS…. I can’t stand the screen reader’s bugs especially in terms of responsiveness, delays and issues around touch exploration.  If they fixed that side of things they would really have a contender; especially with the ability to load android apps.
