My best advice to you would be to look at the specifics for both devices and make your decision from there. I have used neither of those, so I cannot attest to their abilities.

Pros
Q5 better for value,
For daily use normal users.
More color available.

Q10 better for performance
You can use spare battery and EBC if need for heavy use.
Great build design.

Con
Q5 non removable battery
Lower specs

Q10 more expensive
With OS10, performance not really better than Q5 except running android apps or gaming.

cheers,
Fa

When 10.2.1 came out it was in the announcement that the screen reader
app was to be made available for all current BB 10 devices. Yes the
initial launch was on the Z30 but the upgrade for the other devices
got it according to what I read.

All phones support the screen reader...
I've tested it on every device besides the passport

9360 Apollo doesn't support screen reader.
That's feature only for BB10 with OS 10.2.1 or up.

This is strictly my own personal opinion,
You don't have the direction pad on the q/z series. I find this introduces
new challenges.
You might be happy after the update that was originally pushed out on the
passport and will likely come to other devices soon.

However, I find it handles very poorly on lists and multi screen emails.
Lacks a read all or read from here gesture.
Those items are supposed to be fixed (except the read all command) in the
above mentioned update. Although, I have not tested it yet.

Ah sorry I've forgot it, I ever use screen reader on my 9310 and sorry to say, the screen reader just makes my device hanging all day long. I've try hard to remove those apps .
its not the same like BB10, smoothly there .
More option availability.
