Bacteria Biotope Shared Task - Training and Development data release

We are pleased to announce the release the training and development sets of the 2019 edition of the Bacteria Biotope Task, as part of BioNLP Open Shared Tasks 2019 (BioNLP-OST: http://2019.bionlp-ost.org).

BB aims to promote research efforts in information extraction applied to the microbial diversity domain. BB includes several tasks involving entity recognition, entity normalization and relation extraction.

Important dates:

- April 30: Training data release

- Early July: Test data release and evaluation

- August 19: Workshop paper submission

- Sept. 16: Paper acceptance notification

- Sept. 30: Camera-ready papers due

- Nov. 3 or 4: BioNLP-OST workshop
