Bazel blazes in AWS?

Looking for some benchmarks (or opinions) on running Bazel builds lightning fast in AWS for a very large build with 100's of developers + CI.   Users will sit on prem and launch builds to Bazel in AWS over a fast direct connect, and get results back on prem.

Anyone with insights/thoughts/experience with this?

Hi Moshe,

Yes, I set this up for a client of mine with 400+ users.

They got their P50 down to under 5 minutes consistently.

Whether it's AWS/GCP or on-prem or multi-cloud doesn't matter much as long as your network / storage setup is solid.

Are you checking for the feasibility of the solution before trying?

Or did you try setting it up and run into some specific problems?
