BCR stance on hermeticity?

Hi again. Sorry for the barrage of questions. They've been lingering in my TODO list, and I got some time to send them out now.

As the subject says - what's BCR's stance on hermeticity? 

I ask because I noticed that some of the modules provided there are not hermetic and rely on host-installed tools. Now I know that in practical terms not everyone cares about hermeticity, and in many cases it is hard to impossible to achieve (graphics, I'm looking at you!) 

So, what happens if user A contributes a non-hermetic module that user B also needs, but B also wants hermeticity?
