Call for Proposals deadline is June 21st!

Do you have a Bazel story to tell? We want to hear how you're using Bazel to solve complex problems. Sharing your real-world wins and lessons learned helps the entire community grow, so don't hesitate to submit a proposal regardless of your experience level.

What we are looking for:

  • Technical / Feature Talk: 30 minutes

  • Lightning Talk – Technical: 10 minutes

  • Birds of a Feather: 60 minutes

Dates to remember:

  • Open: April 22

  • Close: June 21

  • Schedule Announcement: July 22

Get ready to build at scale in the heart of Europe. BazelCon 2026 will be taking place in the vibrant city of Amsterdam from October 13th–15th.

Whether you’re a seasoned build engineer or just starting your journey with monorepos and hermeticity, this is the place to be. Expect three days of deep-dive technical sessions, hands-on workshops, and the chance to connect with the global community of maintainers and power users.

Training Day - October 13th

Join us for a Training Day on Tuesday, 13 October. Registration will be limited to one session per time slot. Morning and afternoon breaks, and lunch will be provided for Training Day attendees.

9:00 - 10:30

11:00 – 12:30

  • Advanced Bazel: Rules authoring, performance tuning and remote execution

  • rules_{js|ts}: JavaScript & TypeScript with Bazel

13:30 – 15:00

  • Writing Bazel Rules

  • Extending Bazel with Starlark: Custom Commands and Code Generation

15:30 – 17:00

  • How fast should/can my build be? A Journey to understand build optimization

  • rules_py: Python Builds with Bazel
